Pott 33, 5 Piece Set Place Setting

Pott 33 by Carl Pott

Bold and masculine in character, the Pott 33 flatware design is rooted in a stern geometric foundation. Originally conceived in 1975 by Carl Pott at the request of the people of Cologne, it was gifted as the official city cutlery and has since become one of the most iconic collections in the Pott portfolio. Unlike any other flatware from the house, Pott 33 is crafted in the formal Bauhaus tradition, giving it a unique place in modern design history.

The design is defined by its presence: a fork with five tines—an innovation at the time—that allows for easier scooping of sauces and vegetables, paired with sweeping, broad handles that emphasize weight and strength. Subtle grooves at the end of each handle soften the otherwise commanding form, adding refinement without diminishing its authority.

Celebrated internationally, Pott 33 has been awarded recognition at the Biennale Venezia, Design Center Stuttgart, and other prestigious design competitions. Its balance of functionality, craftsmanship, and sculptural quality has secured its place as a timeless classic.

At JANGEORGe Interiors & Furniture, we are proud to present the Pott 33 flatware set, a design that continues to embody innovation, precision, and quiet strength at the table.
